WGS 2018 partners praise organizers for commitment to action, dialogue

The sixth edition of the World Government Summit (WGS 2018) has received support from a number of partners who joined together to praise the UAE in its efforts to encourage dialogue and action, tackle various challenges facing humanity and affect change for the good.
Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, chairman and managing director of featured partner VPS Healthcare, described the summit as "a robust, cross-cultural platform that is playing an important role in shaping the future of our nations by connecting innovation and technology to address challenges facing humanity."
"The WGS aggregates the best ideas and resources from governments and organizations from across the world, helping build bridges for our future, and foster collaboration and learning," added Dr. Vayalil.
Sunny Varkey, founder of featured partner GEMS Education, said: "The World Government Summit has become a platform for world leaders and governments to engage in thought-provoking and future-focused dialogues that aim to improve the lives of citizens worldwide.
"A first-rate education system, which is a key pillar of the national agenda leading to the UAE Vision 2021, is a critical element of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, to build a knowledge-based economy that positively impacts the lives of all residents.
"GEMS Education is closely aligned with the vision of the UAE's leadership as we continue to reaffirm our commitment to education in the country. Through our partnership with the summit we hope to draw from our many years of experience in this field to add value to the governmental efforts to create a world-class education system."
Yusuffali M.A, chairman of featured partner Lulu Group, said: "We have always cherished our partnership with WGS and the way it has grown every year. This year's WGS promises to be the biggest yet and I am looking forward to being part of the various engaging and interactive sessions lined up with world leaders.
"Obviously, the fact that this year India is the guest country makes it all the more exciting. UAE and India have long been the best of business partners and I am sure that WGS 2018 will take the historical ties to a whole new level."
